Stockholm, October 13, 2026 – Froda today announced the appointment of Björn Bryngelson as Chief Commercial Officer. He joins from Klarna, where he spent eleven years, most recently as Head of Nordics, leading the company’s business across the region, including its Swedish home market.

The appointment comes as banks, neobanks and software platforms increasingly look to offer business financing inside their own channels instead of sending their customers elsewhere. Froda’s technology lets partners do that without building lending capabilities themselves, giving them a way to deepen customer relationships, increase engagement and open a new revenue stream. As CCO, Bryngelson will lead Froda’s commercial strategy and partner growth across Europe.

‍

Bryngelson joined Klarna’s global sales team in 2015 and went on to serve as Commercial Director, Country Lead Sweden and Head of Nordics. During his time at the company, he helped build one of Europe’s most successful fintech stories and gained deep experience in partnerships and commercial scaling, including deals that brought Klarna to some of the Nordic region’s most-used platforms. Before Klarna, he spent more than a decade in out-of-home advertising.

‍

“We’ve built the technology and proven it works with partners in eight markets. The next chapter is about scale, and few people in Europe know how to win and grow partnerships the way Björn does. As more banks and fintechs choose to offer business financing in their own channels, he’s the right person to make Froda their first choice,” says Olle Lundin, CEO and co-founder of Froda.

‍

”At Klarna I saw what happens when fast and fair financing is built into the platforms people already use, yet Europe’s SMEs still go without it, even though it’s the number one thing they ask for. Froda is the missing piece that lets those platforms win SMEs first and grow with them for years, and I’m here to bring it to every platform small businesses rely on,” says Björn Bryngelson, Chief Commercial Officer at Froda.

‍

Froda recently launched in France, its eighth market, with neobank Shine, its third market together with the Shine group after Kontist in Germany and Billy in Denmark. With a loan portfolio of SEK 5 billion, Froda has grown into one of Europe’s leading embedded finance platforms, with partnerships with banks and fintechs across the Nordics, the UK, Ireland, Germany and France.

‍

Bryngelson is the latest addition to Froda’s commercial team, which earlier this year welcomed Philip Ternhem, Sales Director, and Johannes Wiktorin, Business Development Analyst.
