Stockholm, March 10, 2026 – Sakina Turabali, co-founder of Trustyou, has been awarded Froda's Future Female Founder 2026. With a background spanning over a decade in growth and sales, and a deeply personal motivation, she is building an AI-driven privacy-first app supporting children’s digital well-being. The app helps parents spot early warning signs affecting their children, from bullying and grooming to mental health issues. The app is set to launch in the coming weeks.

The Future Female Founder scholarship aims to support and promote early-stage female entrepreneurs, as part of Froda's commitment to creating a more gender-equal business environment. This year's winner was chosen unanimously by a jury of prominent entrepreneurs: Jonas Groth, co-founder of Aarke, Ludwig Jonsson, co-founder of Rodolfo, Julia Elf, co-founder of Elfcare, Oliver Mohseni, co-founder of Froda, Jenny Lundkvist, co-founder of Daya Ventures, and Linda Alexandersson, co-founder of Maybe Baby.

“Receiving this scholarship is a pivotal milestone for Trustyou, providing the vital resources to bring our app to market. As we refine our technology for the launch in the coming weeks, our vision is officially becoming a reality,” says Sakina Turabali, co-founder of Trustyou.

The idea for Trustyou was born when Sakina went looking for a way to protect her own daughter online, and found that nothing on the market combined early intervention with genuine respect for children's privacy. Together with co-founders Qixin Yang and Frank Riehl, she set out to build something different. Rather than scanning private messages or content, Trustyou analyses behavioural patterns to give parents clear, actionable insights, making it possible to act early without compromising a child's integrity. The platform gives insights to both parents and adolescents, shared in an age-appropriate way.

The concept began taking shape at the beginning of 2025, and a few months later Sakina and her team had formed the company. Now, with the Future Female Founder scholarship providing a critical boost, the launch is imminent. Looking ahead, the team has its sights set on partnerships that can accelerate adoption at scale.

“Our next priority is securing a pilot with a telecom operator to establish Trustyou as the new standard for family digital safety, transparency, and communication in our evolving digital world,” says Sakina Turabali, co-founder of Trustyou.

“Future Female Founder exists to give early-stage female entrepreneurs the boost they need. Sakina stood out to the entire jury because she combines deep personal conviction with the experience and grit it takes to build and scale a company. Trustyou is a perfect example of what this scholarship is about, a strong founder with a meaningful idea that deserves to reach the market,” says Oliver Mohseni, co-founder of Froda.

Jury's motivation

With children at the heart of her mission, Sakina has built a digital solution grounded in trust, safety and long-term impact. Trustyou tackles a critical societal challenge with the clear priority of protecting children’s integrity above all else and we are excited to see how Sakina’s technology will create meaningful and lasting change for future generations.
