Smarter tools for merchants, powered by Yabie and Froda Embedded
Yabie and Froda Embedded have built a strong partnership focused on creating a seamless, integrated lending experience for small retailers and restaurants.
Yabie is a Swedish tech company that develops point-of-sale software for SMBs, aiming to simplify daily operations for merchants across both retail and hospitality.
“I had worked with Froda before, back when I was at Bambora, and I knew immediately they were the right partner for Yabie,” says Siri, CEO of Yabie. “We share the same philosophy around ease of use and great user experience, which made Froda Embedded the obvious choice.”
Through the partnership, Yabie has integrated Froda Embedded directly into its platform as a value-added service. Merchants can access the loan product inside Yabie’s backstage environment, where they already manage sales, analytics, configuration, table management, loyalty programs, and more. The simplicity of the flow and the alignment around UX made the implementation fast and straightforward.
The impact goes far beyond product integration. “We see customers staying longer, taking more loans, and being genuinely happy with the experience,” Siri explains. “The Froda product also generates about one third of our added MRR, which is a significant contribution.”
Siri highlights Froda’s strong product mindset, reliability, and collaborative approach. “I brought Froda with me from Bambora to Yabie for a reason,” she says. “I wouldn’t recommend them if I didn’t truly believe in them. They’re the partner you want if you value product quality and real collaboration.”
Looking ahead, Yabie is in a rapid expansion phase. The company is currently live in three markets and plans to operate in ten within a year, through major retail partnerships and new platform integrations. This growth requires robust technology, smooth API connections, and reliable partnerships.
“Our vision is to keep expanding and offering a complete ecosystem for SMB merchants,” Siri concludes. “Having partners like Froda Embedded, who share our focus on simplicity and innovation, is essential to making that happen.”
